The live demo calculates quality, composition, length, N-content, and duplicate summaries on the user’s device.
The concept has been presented to laboratory professionals. Structured in-person research and a first signed pilot remain pending.
Kmeggie+ has not published benchmark results against FastQC, MultiQC, or validated diagnostic workflows.
VALIDATION AGENDA
Compare core metrics and error detection against hand-checked fixtures and established tools.
Measure runtime, memory use, file limits, and failure behaviour on representative laboratory hardware.
Observe laboratory technicians completing real review tasks and document where explanations or workflows fail.
Evaluate offline use, updates, support, provenance, and reporting within institutional laboratory processes.
